INTRODUCTION

The company DASSAUD FILS exits since 1986. Upon its foundation, our activities were mainly in the sphere of subcontracting in the cutlery field.

In addition, we develop and manufacture cutting tools for the rubber industry.

The company DASSAUD FILS continues today with these same activities and has diversified production by creating in 1992 a range of professional knives under the name of Caribou® mainly intended for the food industry.

Still in this sector of activities and to answer to the growing demands of the professional users, in 1999, DASSAUD FILS conceived a range of safety knives guaranteeing 100% the safety of the operators hands. These models are commercialised and internationally patented under the name of Sécuricoupe®.

In the same year, Sécuricoupe® won 1st place for innovation in the quality, hygiene and security categories at the CFIA Trade Fair in Rennes (France).

In 2001, motivated by the evolution of sterilization and cleanliness requirements, DASSAUD FILS responded to the corrosion problem of the steels, by manufacturing Afilinox® : the first anti-rust steel, called with a stainless steel rod without any hard chrome and may be reground indefinitely.

DASSAUD FILS controls all the automatic production process from creation through to delivery and has become a true partner in the food industry.

The hundreds of thousands of knives sold per year in the field, where only quality products have their place, are the best proof of our know how.
